Her Life in Words
The Heart of the Storyteller
Charlotte Swann had a vivid imagination that allowed her to create stories as a child, sharing them with anyone who would listen. Her storytelling and writing have grown more eloquent over the years, but the excitement of language and creation she experienced as a child has not diminished.
Charlotte has been writing since 2000, and she has no plans of slowing down. She describes herself as a curious writer who enjoys exploring different themes and motifs. Whenever she writes, she enjoys immersing herself in a variety of projects, researching, producing, and fine-tuning stories she believes are worth sharing.
She determines which stories are worth sharing based on their ability to captivate and resonate with readers. She seeks narratives that evoke emotion, challenge perspectives, and offer insights into the human experience. By carefully selecting stories that possess these qualities, she aims to create a meaningful connection with her audience and leave a lasting impact through her writing.
In addition to creating and writing Red Line District, she also created and wrote the upcoming episodic series Hidden District based on the novel.
She hopes both projects will inspire others to think more critically about the world around them and create meaningful change. She wants to encourage people to use storytelling to explore difficult topics and create social change.
“If there is a book that you want to read, but it hasn’t been written yet, you must be the one to write it.”
